Christmas Light Show
Cottage Charm Tea Room, located in an historical home built in 1905, in downtown Katy, Texas has teamed with The Thom Polvogt Agency Group and The McKenzie Group in order to provide the community with a one of a kind light show and food drive for Katy Christian Ministries.
The preliminary specs will include a low watt radio signal to play the music, a special computer & software program, 80 individual light channels that form hundreds of light combinations with over 19,000+ lights, featuring a “Mega Tree”, “40’ Mega Fence”, “JESUS”, and “5—14’ arches”. Chip McKenzie, owner of the Cottage Charm property said "This will be the shows third year and we still have plans to expand and improve in the coming years." Michael McKenzie with The McKenzie Group will be designing & programming the electronic aspect of the show. Every beat of the music will be programmed and coordinated with the miles of lights. Guest will be able to listen to music on their radio , 89.9 FM, and watch the light show, full of color and fast moving flashes. The light show is free of charge, however Cottage Charm would like each viewer to drop off a non perishable can(s) of food that will be given to Katy Christian Ministries, a local charity for Christmas and New Years. The show will repeat every 15 minutes between 6pm & 11pm 7 days a week. A website has been created to show case this light show!
